Left at 7:30 this morning for a long drive.  This is one of those truck days where nothing much happened apart from sleep, reading, toilet stops and repeat.  It was again a hot day although was raining at some points and the air-conditioning needed to be shut down (windows closed).  I went into the cab at some points and at one time the temperature, according to the gauge, dropped from 34 to 21 as the rain started.  We eventually pulled up at the campsite just after 8pm, pitching the tents in the drizzle and dark.  It was then quick turnaround as I was on cook team that night and we were with another Tucan truck "Frank" for this part of the journey.  I´m sorry to say that was really all that happened that day and there really is nothing more to write home about on this particular occasion.
