There are some days when you just feel that you are alive.  Today was one of those days!

The snow was perfect, the sun was shining, the view fantastic and the queues were short. Whistler is so huge that despite there being thousands of people here - everyone just kinda disappears on the two mountains somewere and most of the time you have the runs to yourself and the lift operators apologise if you've been waiting for over a minute in the queue.

The Village is fantastic too.  An endless array of shops and pubs are in the village and they regularly clean away all of the snow from the paths - so you can walk around in real shoes.  You walk to the lift (about 2 minutes), jump on and are zoomed up the mountain - no falling on your ass after slipping on the snow, or huffing and puffing to get up the hill to the chairlift.  Wingy says we have found a new place to ski.  Pity it takes so long to get here.

Only downa of the day - got the runs.  Literally skied from one toilet to the next.  I think I might have learnt to ski even faster today!

Heaps of aussies here.  Every third or fourth accent sounds familiar.  The girl that served us lunch lives in Como and they are selling Murray's wine in the grocery store...

Will dream tonight of sunshine and more powder!  (If I can avoid Wingy's farts - he is like a seagull on bicard soda - farting everywhere..)
