Another day of Art and other stuff. We visited Inspirations and although they had some good stuff they must be targeting the gold dealers not the tourists. Then to the Craft Works which is a community based operation. Great really because they had wood working, blacksmiths shop, rock grinders, quilters, knitters, all retired and all loving it. Then to an Art Gallery up by the Botanical Gardens ( if you can call them that) Paintings for sale at $3000 a wee bit out of our league. So we visited the Botanical Gardens and found a half rotten pond with 6 mouldy looking gold fish, The water wasn't running and the water falls were off. I think the water shortage may have something to do with it. So we decided to go down to Quirindi to see what all the TV advertising has been about and were met by a quaint little town with an old historic railway station and some old diesel engines. A nicely laid out main street with new garden beds of flowers and rosmary in masses. We had a walk from one end to the other, had a pie and looked for a different way to get back to Tamworth. The drive back via Wallabadah and the New England Hwy and to Tamworth. Very tired and my tooth or jaw is aching so I had a sleep. Went to the RSL for dinner and Helen to play the pokies and home intime to watch The Bill and Spooks. Tomorrow we'll hitch up and continue south
