It was a beautiful day despite the cold. I got an early start, arrived at my lunch spot before 11 and made my 15 miles by 3. No fewer than three people offered me rides today. The first was a pretty young woman in a mini van who said she passed me twice and just had to turn back to see if I needed help. The next guy pulled over in a pick-up and tried to explain to me that it was cold out. Later a man in an enormous truck with an enormous trailer piled high with hay offered me a ride- like he didn’t have anything going on.
