Our next stop was Yosemite. We spent three nights there visiting all the sights in the National Park. We saw the fifth tallest waterfall in the world (Yosemite Falls) and walked to the top of another tall waterfall and now our legs are sore! It was worse going down though, our knees wouldn’t stop shaking! Mine have been all wobbly ever since! The scenery was stunning, tall white cliffs and pine trees alongside green rivers and waterfalls.

No, we didn’t see any bears, the only bear-like creature we saw was Dan Patterson coming out of the woods! It was nice to see Dan and Claire and exchange travel stories over a hot chocolate. And before anyone asks, no, we didn’t see Yogi Bear or Boo Boo – they live in Jellystone! On the drive back through Yosemite, the petrol light came on when we still had 30 miles to go so I (Manoj) had to coast in neutral downhill for about 15 miles! Luckily we made it back unscathed though. Stupid gas guzzling cars!
