Hey all

I made it safe and sound to my hostel in Athens: Zorba.  The flight was great and I met a girl from Japan who is studying in NOrthern England.  She was also visiting Athens.

The both of us took a bus into Syndaga and then walked to Omonia Square.  From there we parted ways.  I didn't know exactly how to get to the hostel so it took me a good 30 minutes to walk around and then get lost and find my way again.  I popped into a greek restaurant to ask for directions.  They gave me a map but it was all in greek letters so it was useless to me.  I took a photo of it anyway because they pointed out where they thought my hostel would be and they turned out to be correct!

Atop a rock...no special rock...just a rock overlooking Athens city...absolutely beautiful.

Anyway, nothing really going on tonight since it's already 115.  Tomorrow I'll be heading to Acropolis early in the morning around 800.  I'll snap a couple of pictures and then just walk around I suppose.  Okay, gotta go shower and get settled in.  I'll talk to you all tomorrow!

I'm in Athens Baby!  By the way my camera can't connect to the computer for some reason so I can't upload pictuers until I get to an internet cafe or something.  I'm in Athens Baby!
