From El Jadida we got the tolled autoroute north. The autoroutes were very good – although not as cheap as I thought they would be – still it was nice to be able to cover ground quickly. That said, it was a Moroccan autoroute, see the picture for evidence.
We bypassed Casablanca and went right past Rabat/Sale (after a wrong turn) and onwards to Moulay Bousselham (MB). MB is on a big lagoon one side and the ocean the other side, and is famous for its waterbirds. We camped right next to the lagoon, which was very scenic. There were lots of people offering boat rides on the lagoon but we didn’t do this as we were leaving first thing in the morning.

We spent some time gathering wood and in the evening we had another campfire, much to Jays delight! He really loves throwing wood onto the fire and we burned so much we had to make a few extra forays for more wood!
Dave.
