Brisbane ... 7 hours to Recharge

Well, after a few false starts

(forgot it was day light savings so woke up at 6am dashed out of the hotel (forgoing our first breakfast as a married couple!!!) to realise it was actually only 5am... forgot the video camera had to go back... Road works 30mins out of Town... A quick U-Turn to find... Road closed for accident...)

a fleeting view of "The Big Prawn"...

So left Hotel in Newcastle at 5am ...

actually left Newcastle at 11:30am...

and after a nine hour drive to Brisbane...

Highlights of the road trip being:

- a fleeting view of "The Big Prawn" out the car window

- Mangrove Swamp out the car window

- Mark letting me drive our new car for an hour

(while he slept... on a deserted road... then we switched back

when he thought there might be another car on the road)

we finally stopped to sleep at the :     THE AIRPORT MOTEL

Which was clean, a good place to sleep -

which is absolutely all we needed after that drive!
