Apologies for the delay, as George was saying it is very tough to fit in time for a blog when you are lazing on a beach, watching the sunset whilst eating great food with a few beers. As george left you in the last entry we had arrived in Koh Tao, where scuba diving was our main priority, but i will let one of the advanced divers fill you in on that. Some of you may be concerned that we appear to be doing a lot cultural activities and not partying enough, I am here to inform you that is not the case. We timed our trip to Koh Tao very well as it coincided with the islands annual "Under Water Festival".

On the nights of the 10th and 11th there was a late night festival/party on the beach, and we believed it would be rude not to attend. After a few beers out our dive center we joined some of our scuba course friends on yet another exceptional taxi journey! There were 17 people, that we could count, all bundled into the back of a pick up with absolutely no room to spare! With a couple of friends, we made our way to the bar where we spent sometime playing a few drinking games with jugs of beer, buckets of redbull and vodka and buckets of Sang-Som (local rum) and coke. I must say I am big fan of being served my drinks in a bucket.

After we built up an appetite we hit some of the many food stalls for some of the tastiest thai and other food types we have had on tour. Then we had a few more drinks and the memory gets a little hazy. With live reggae music on the stage we took to the beach with a drink and relaxed by the sea. That wasn't enough for Adam so he went to relax in the sea with a new found friend!

The next evening involved very much more of the same only better as they added a foam party section! The buckets were again flowing early on to get us in the party mood untill we felt sufficiently lubricated to do the foam section justice, we did. It was really dancing in the foam, mainly wrestling people to the floor and general tom foolery. Natalie sneaking behind people on her hands and knees so George coul topple them over bringing back memories of the play ground, but superb fun in the foam. One of the memorys i still have of the evening was seeing Natalie just appear from a 6ft pile of foam with her hands in the air and her top round her waist, the local men were loving the view; there may have been some more relaxing/swimming on the beach I cannot be sure but we all had an excellent time lefting off some steam after the scuba course and everyone remained in one piece.
