This morning we weaved our way through a concrete jungle of on and off ramps outside of Kittering England.  We managed to escape the mayhem and reach the top of an english rolling hill that gave a wonderful view of the country side.  We rolled into Leicester around 3 and quickly made our way to the city center where we enjoyed an Indian feast that Tony had scored.  After lying in an overstuffed stupor for a good 45 minutes we began our trial and error journey out of the city, north to Nottingham.  At one of the many cross walks we looked left, then right, trying to decide which way was out of the urban maze, Nate spotted a fellow biker and decided to ask for directions.  The cyclist, who'd lived in Leicester (pronounced Lester) for a good 20 years gave us a guided tour through the city, showing us the local town houses and the mammoth statue in a local park on our way out of town.  We parted ways about a mile out of the city, Nate, Tony and I took a break on the side of the highway to fill our nalgenes with fresh blackberries that we enjoyed for days to come.
