still in geromere bummin around...

after 3 days in the city, we have found our favorite resturaunt and our favorite internet and once we have found our favorite bar, that means it is time to move on

so yesterday after waking at 11 am, we went shopping which turned out to be a 3 hour long ordeal

we went into a shop and started asking about pillowcases which are pretty cool

so after sarah debated about matching colors and what not for 10 min, the shop owner and i started playing baccgammon-which seems to be the national past time for turkey-

so after an hour, we sent the owners son to get us some beers to drink while he whooped up on me at backgammon...bummer

so we bought a few things and headed home to the cave room...nice

turns out the cave room is the desireable place because it stays cool during the day and cool during the night-we even need to use a blanket which is a nice change

later in the day, we rented a scooter to go around to see some of the landscape-similar to the american south west- red rock layered and what not...excepte in the south west,they dont have these crazy formations called fairy chimnies...which people have turned into pigeon houses and people houses

so we drove around the area at a lightning 20 mph and tried to catch the sunset which was obscured by clowds from a storm in the distance...bummer

so after 3 hours, sarah was officially done and we had dinner at our favorite resturaunt...nice

tonite, its horse back riding at dusk so hopefully we will get a good sunset...the only bummer is that i will actually have to wear shoes...it is a sign of a good vacation because i have worn soes 5 times total during a month of travel...

4 times to jog and 1 time to ride the scooter...nice buddy
