Fiji: tropical paradise

Our travels definitely got off to a great start. Amazing how quickly the stress of packing and moving evaporated on Taveuni. We stayed at a wonderful place with our own bure on the beach(Mango Bure, Coconut Grove) that offered great food and a friendly, B&B-like atmosphere (thanks Ronna!). Diving the Rainbow Reef was spectacular, amazing soft corals, hard corals and fish life, with equally amazing currents. Also took time to explore some of the island with new friends, Lutz and Thordis, including the Lavena Coastal Walk (excellent!) to a beautiful pair of waterfalls, one which doubled as a waterslide. Tavoro falls was also spectacular.

We arrived in Auckland last night, are leaving later this morning for Queenstown to start trekking.
