So this weekend I went tot a charity fight at Nai Harn Beach.  The fight started at 9pm and went for 3 hours. There were 9 separate fighters ranging from age 4 to 24.  Yes age 4! It was a riot and at times, I felt it was just wrong!  These tiny babies running around swinging wildly....though they did have gloves that was the only protection.  Child care services in the US would have a field day handing out citations here....so would the building code inspector.

The fighters only wear gloves...and there were two knockouts.  The other fights either ended in TKO or after 5 rounds of 3 min each, a point decision was made.  It was quite a blast to see.  Next time I will go to Patong to the Bagla Stadium to see a real match.  Oh, each match begins with the traditional Thai ritual/dance.

Monday Monday

Monday morning came fast, and I was super excited tot get back to training. My ribs, thighs and feet got a chance to heal this weekend.  I am sstill working on getting the right amount of raw fruits etc in before training...it is not so easy to be so unscientific for once.

I also rented a motor bike...to go to farther attractions.  I want to see the Cobra show, phuket zoo, Andaman Islands on the NW side of Phuket island and of course....Krabi and Phi Phi islands.

The next 3 weeks are solid training with one scheduled break.  This Friday I have to leave the country and re-enter to get another 30 days here.  Instead of taking the whole day bus trip to Burma and back...I think I will fly to Vietnam for 2 days and see Angkor Wat etc.. many people and books cannot say enough about it.

Of course, sailing is still a high priority....witht a mototr bike perhaps I will finally find the flippin marina!
