Complete the circle...

M: Well we finally made it home after our two week excursion to Europe. It was pretty much the best vacation I have been on to date!I am sure no one is reading this blog anymore but for my own records I wanted to finish up the trip! On Tuesday morning we left for the airport at 7:45. Becky helped us carry our many bags to the train to the Stanstead airport. Who knew that airport doesn't fly to the US? Well apparently not us, as we got there and shortly found out we were at the WRONG airport. SO, it is 10 AM and we are supposed to be on our flight at 11:30. What to do? Call a CAB! In the midst of freaking out we check how much and how long it would take for a taxi. Well...it was over an hour and a half drive...and cost way more than any other cab I had taken. We were kinda out of options though...so we forked over the money and hopped in. Oh, did I mention it takes an hour and half to get to Gatwick from Stanstead? Yeah, so we were pretty much screwed from the beginning. Anyways, we got to the airport at 11:20. Alexis booked it into the NorthWest desk. They told her we missed our flight. Then they proceed to be the most amazing airlines ever and bump us to the next flight out, give her the boarding passes and never say a thing! How amazing is that? We are very lucky girls, VERY lucky. So we ended up in Fargo a little later than we expected...but safe...and home. I love home, and the U.S. Europe is nice to visit for a while, but I don't think I will be moving there any time soon!
