Abel Tasman National Park
From New Zealand - The Stray Bus in Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand on Nov 04 '07
Abel Tasman National Park is famous for beautiful golden beaches and the area with the most sunshine hours in New Zealand. The sun shone and while the boys went sailing, us girls went horse riding through the mountains and down onto the beach. Our guide, fondly named crazy Brian took us on the ride and throughout took hundreds of photos on all of our cameras. Before we had even left the paddock my horse Mac had a little freak out with Lorna’s horse…not really the most relaxing start to the ride! The lessons from Holly paid off and I loved every second.

During our stay in Old MacDonald’s Farm we celebrated bonfire night. Cathy our driver let off the lamest fireworks ever, Monty and I made Guy Fawkes and thanks to the lovely Pete we toasted marshmallows on the campfire.
