Monday morning it was off to the airport and the trip home.  Yours truly stayed back a few days to attend the graduation of a medical student from the Universtity of Rome whom I have known for fifteen years.  I end these reflections from the city of St. Francis, the city of Assisi.  It is cold here but my heart is warmed by the memories of last week.  Tonight I will have dinner at the home of Arturo and Patrice, our Italian film folks who provided such beautiful pictures for Telecare.  To both Msgr. Jim Vlaun and the ever capable Bob Considine at Telecare and to Rick Henshaw, the affable editor of the Long Island Catholic and the ever present photographer, Greg Schemetz a hearty thank you.  We all look forward to what you will bring home to the people of Long Island.  From this city of peace, may the Lord give you peace.
