No, we did not hop on a plane and go to Greece, we are in Agrigento, Sicily which has some of the best preserved greek ruins outside of Greece.  Agrigento is about a 2 hour train ride from Palermo.  Other Greek temples are also located in Selinunte, but we did not go there due to time constraints.  These temples date from the 5th century BC... in other they are old, very old.  Do you think centuries from now, people will be traveling to look at ruins from an old 7-11 and taking pictures in front of the beautiful columns of gas pumps????  It could happen....
