This morning we went out in a sand buggy into the desert near Ica.

This was brilliant fun, the best tenner i have spent, it was like a rollercoaster ride over sand dunes but these dunes were like mound road so coming over the precipice of one and facing a sheer drop was pretty scary but great fun.

We also had a chance to do sand boarding. This is like the luge from the winter o´lymp÷ics but on sand and head first. we both did all 4 hills starting with a nursery slope to a monster hill at the end, brilliant. both wanted to go again.

then back to the oasis for lunch again after a trip to the local vineyard for tasting session and a look round the colonial style ranch.
