Wikki and Plugga's adoption day

*We woke today to find another cold and miserable day outside. We checked out and made our way to the bank to ensure all $$ for Wikki was sorted. It was eventually after about 2 hours later (gotta love those banks!) and then today became officially Wikki and Plugga’s adoption day. We drove away, literally 100 meters before we had to pull over and organize third party insurance- nightmare and bluddy expensive! Then we’re on our way to South Ruislip to see a family friend preparing to park outside in the van for the night. (Seeing plenty of Pom-moos in the fields- some of you will get what we mean!) In turn we had no map, no money and very little idea… but we made it to our destination… miraculous really!! Lyn had a huge surprise as we rocked up and realised she hadn’t received our message. She’s so funny! We spent the night, with laughs, photos and stories of Gma and Gpa. She persuaded us to sleep over in her compfy beds instead and then start our journey with the van the next day. Bless her cotton socks, she cooked us up a meal at 10pm before bedtime. So in conclusion we had such an up and down day. We firstly got stuck in the bank for 2 hours while they held up our funds, then the highlight of making Wikki and Plugga our own, to being stuck in a carpark down the road to get insurance, then driving in the pouring rain purely traveling on a hunch (hence missing many important turn offs) with no maps- yet still arriving here safe and sound and happy here in a comfy bed. We couldn’t have planned it better if we tried!
