Last weekend I went to Brugge, Belgium and Amsterdam with Elizabeth and Ashley. We left early Friday morning to arrive in Brugge around 1 p.m. We spent about three hours taking a brief tour of the city and stopping for (drum roll please…) Belgium Waffles in Belgium! They tasted absolutely delicious! I opted for fruit topped ones! Mmm…so good! We also stopped for some Belgium chocolate which also tasted soooo good! The Belgium people know how to do sweets! My kind of country! By 4:30ish we hopped on another train for Amsterdam. We arrived in Amsterdam around 10:30 only to take another train to our hotel in Zaanse Schans, a small town just outside of Amsterdam. We slept heavenly there! I even had the opportunity to take a sacred bath with a bathrobe! Haha! Oh the little things in life!
The Belgium people know how to do sweets!
