My plane arrived in Paris at 9 am.. their time, and remember France is 7 hours ahead of Iowa. It was a piece of cake going through customs, it was actually harding leaving Iowa than entering France. After getting my luggage, which by the way weighed a ton, I went to buy my train ticket. Wow, I thought that when said I need a ticket to Rennes they would just say the price. No, what followed was a very fast, very long French. I had no idea, I am sure I looked like a deer in headlights!
After finally buying my ticket i had to wait in the train station until 1:30. I found the platform and everything else okay. When I got on the the train with all of my luggage, I had no where to put it. The area designated for luggage was full so I had to put it in my seat with me. Needless to say I had to sit cross legged the 3 hour ride to Rennes.

At the train station in Rennes I was met by Auralee who, thank god, spoke English, because at that point I was dead tired, hungry and not in a very good mood, ask mom. We took the metro to the Villejean, the university, and got me checked into my dorm. After that I unpacked some and called my mother about the toilets with NO seats and the unisex bathrooms.
