Well, I got back extremely late from Ireland because of a transportation mishap.  I'd rather not go into detail because it's a rather long story.  I finally got home around 2 am and crashed.  Thankfully, this week was spirit week and the first day was Pajama day!  I honestly rolled out of bed in my pajamas and went to school.  It was grrrreat!  My kids loved it and it really made me feel uber relaxed and I was so comfortable and warm...I wish every day was pajama day.  :)

I love being a teacher!

YAY for Super Hero day!  I went to the PX and got the easiest costume available: a cat.  I went to school dressed in all black and had my uber cute black boots on and went as Cat Woman.  There were a lot of kids dressed like Cat Woman, but I'd say I looked pretty damn good!  :D  I love Spirit Week!  I love high school!  I love my job!  :D

Today was fashion disaster day and an in school pep rally.  It was so much fun!  I really forget how great high school really is, but this time I'm on the other side and it's even better than being a student in high school.  No tests, no impressing crushes and trying to be a part of the cool crowd--even though I never had to try when I was in high school.  Haha....I'm kidding.  My students really enjoyed my outfit today and my new nickname with them is "Princess Fiona" from Shrek--before she turned into an ogar.  :)

YIKES! It's Friday the 13!  My day started out rough, but it got a lot better as the day went on.  Everyone is talking about the homecoming dance tomorrow and getting dressed up and everything...we never had a formal homecoming dance when I was in school, but I do remember it was fun, for the shor time I was there.  I remember I had the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer race that next day, so I didn't stay long...anyway, everyone's psyched about the bon fire tonight and the game tomorrow...ah, i love being a teacher!  I don't think I've said that enough!

So, I spent all day decorating the gym for the homecoming dance.  It was such a blast!  I spent quality time with students and faculty and we had pizza and soda for lunch--free, on the school. I'm so tired and I'm home just for a second to eat some dinner, get a shower and head back to the school to help take tickets at the dance.  I'm only staying there from 8pm to 10pm.  Then I'm coming home and crashing!  This past week, I logged in over 45 hours at school and I'm wiped out, but not overworked, if that makes any sense.  It does to me, at least.  Oh, and we lost the game to the Heidelburg Lions...oh well.  The Warriors fought hard, though.  They didn't give this win away very easily, I heard, at least.  :)

After the fire calmed down a little...the fire fighters were frantic because the "explosion" was more than they anticipated. Haha...
