Quaint city in Southeastern France

Lyon is a city in southeastern France located on the Saone.  We had originally planned to just drive by and to stop in to Lyon for a quick bite to eat.  However upon entry into the city we saw a beautiful Catholic church located on the top of a hill that we just had to go and see.  The church is called the Notre Dame cathedral. It is a white church that is a site to see.  The details on the facade of the church will take your breath away and you better have your camera ready to take lots of pictures of the view from the churches front gardens.  To get to the church we had to go up a winding road that was a source of entertainment in itself.
