After spending another night on the floor of a ferry we got off the ship and made our way to Naples. Thigs worked out really well actually. As soon as we got off the ship there was a bus just waiting to take people to Naples so we hopped on with the help of some new Napolian friends. After a scary little bus ride our new friends escorted us to a nearby hotel where we spent the night. As soon as we arrived we planned on going to Pompai for a day trip but that plan was shot when once again we laid down for just a short nap and didnt wake up until the evening. So instead we spent time just walking around the city.Famished from not eating all day., all we wanted to do was find somewhere to grab a little something, unforunatly it was three in the afternoon and nothing opened until seven. A little old man tried desperatly to find a place for us walking around the city going to all the places he could think of that might be open but no luck. We finally parted with the nice old man and stumbled upon a little cafe where I filled up on icecream. At the cafe we met a really fun English couple who we ended up spending the evening with going out to dinner and sharing stories of how Naples was not our favorite place in Italy. Everyone we met (locals) told us to keep an eye on our things as the city is known for being the pickpocket capital of Europe. Meeting the couple from London really made Naples a much more enjoyable experience. Needless to say I will probably not be visting Naples again any time soon.
