Yesterday Tom took us for a walking tour. We met Craig at lunch time at Jeremy's Ale House and then walked a whole block before before the boys needed to make a pit stop so we headed into another place and Tom ordered Cornstalk Lagers. We walked back up to Union Square to see if Bruce H. was working but no such luck.

We got back, rested, and then I met my first famous person. Lenny Kaye is a good friend of Tom's who stopped by last night and then we drove downtown for a while and came back. Last night the mice (rats) started scurrying through the ceiling and I had a hard time falling asleep but finally I did. Tim is coming down with a cold which I think probably is just him getting over-tired with low defences and he's 'allowed' to get sick now that we are back from the trip. We wake early but it always takes forever to get out the door so today we went to the Grand Canyon diner and had omlettes at around noon.

After brunch, I went to the Metropolitan museum of art by myself on the subway. No problem and no dangers except when I got on the train I forgot to check which one it was. Luckily it was the right one. We are all going to take it easy as Tom's wife, Henrietta, suffers from insomnia and hasn't been sleeping the last few days and Tim is under the weather. We might have peruvian food, which we have never had, and watch a movie tonight. Ah, traditional USA activities!
