Made it safely toIl Giunchetto, a five-hundred year-old villa in the hills of a tiny vallage called Castelfranco Di Sopra. You probably wont find it on a map... wait a minute, there's a map at the top of this posting. Check-mate.
So far we have been hitting up the small but sufficient swimming pool to beat the 35°+C weather (You do the math), exploring some of the hill towns in the Chianti vicinity, and generally living "la dolce vita" which, in Italian, means "la vida loca."

Internet has been few and far between, but i promise to add some good stuff soon. In the pictures included with this entry i have documented both the largest sausage west of Vienna, and Devin buying some (unused) thong underwear from a vending machine. By the way, next time you see Devin ask him to tell you his thong misunderstanding story.
Tomorrow we head to Sienna to watch the time trials for the Palio, the medieval version of roller derby... on horseback. Friday we head to Firenze for the Ufizzi, Accademia (David) and the Borgello galleries. Then, it's back to Rome to face the unshaven masses and perhaps pull in a few additional sights.
