Have made it to the first destibation! Slight detour on the flight from London, got asked to offload as flight was full, so Singapore Airlines paid us 200 GBP each to fly with Malaysian Airlines and an upgrade on next flight (to hong kong lovely!). Spent on night in Singapore then hopped on a train to KL. Thought it was a 4 hour trip actually 8, i managed to sleep all the way!\

Kuala Lumpur is great! Marriott people, we are in the Renaissance, cheap as chips and on the 22nd floor overlooking the Peterona Towers! Have been up them thism morning and did the KL tower yesterday. Got a bit happy last night on tiger beer, struggling this morning! All you do in KL is shop, shop and shop. I'm being very good though!

Kuala Lumpur is great!

Good stuff Maisey, glad to hear you made it in one piece. Sounds like being bumped off flights could be a nice little earner for you! £200 and an upgrade? Worth the hassle I reckon. Take care.
