3 of my friends from camp and I met up with my family at Interlaken on Saturday morning. The 4 of us and Travis went to the pick up point for canyoning after we ate lunch. We got ALL geared up in our bathing suit, dry suit, boots, jacket, harness, life vest and helmet and hopped in the van. Our guides were amazing! We hiked up part of the mountain a ways and got in the water. The water was freezing as it seeped into our suits. We started walking on the rocks and playing around. At each jump or slide, we would stop before and instructed on how to jump and land or how exactly to slide down. The jumps were a lot of fun! They weren't too high, but they were into only like 3 feet of water in only about a 6 or 7 foot area! We also repelled down a cliff side into a waterfall pool and that was a lot of fun! Everyone was all hyped up the whole trip constantly laughing, smiling, high-fiving and knowing that this was one of the best things they will ever do! It was absolutely beautiful up in the mountains. The water was so pure running right off the glacier that we stopped to drink some from the waterfall and would scoop it up in our hands. It was gorgeous!! After we were all done we met back up with mom and dad and headed back to Zurich where the hotel was. We all crashed on the bed when we got to our rooms bc we had ridden the trains all through the night and only slept about and hour each. The bed was like heaven with all the down pillows and comforters!!! The next day 2 of my friends had to leave early to get back to their camps while one of the s that lives with me stayed. We walked around Zurich, which is also of course absolutely beautiful. We stopped for ice cream and fed the swans. We watched some Brazilians play music and dance. We ate at an amazing little restaraunt on the water and enjoyed the great weather. We picked up some souvenirs before Trav, my friend Francie and I all went swimming in the river which of course was...yes, amazing! It was a GREEEAT weekend, exciting, relaxing, beautiful and refreshing! I would love to go back and live there for a while too! I think dad should get a little house and boat in Switzerland, it is the most beautiful place I've been so far!

Repelling off those rocks in the Swiss Alps is one of the best things I've ever done!
