Uyuni, Bolivia - Day 13

there are 2 things i wanted to see/do on this trip - Machu Picchu and Uyuni Salt Flats. so i took a 10 hour over night bus from La Paz to Uyuni (which i paid 230 bolivianos but i got yelled at cuz i paid too much...but i was too lazy to look up bus and train schedule hehe) so arriving at Uyuni, i checked in with the tour agency, went to immigration to get my passport stamped cuz i was leaving bolivia right after the trip and walked around the main street of Uyuni.

Uyuni is the smallest town ever! when i got off the bus, i thought omg im in bumfuk, idaho (which is RY´s favourite saying...haha). seriously this is in the middle of nowhere (well in the middle of bolivia) and there is NOTHING around the town except for dirt road and land. but this is the starting point for all the salt flats tour so naturally we had to gather here before the tour.

im glad to say i didnt stay over night here...therés nothing to do except for a bar which i hear is quite good but i guess i´ll catch it next time! haha
