San Francisco is a place of two halves. Up by the bridge its very tourist-orientated, but that said a bike ride along the bay and over the bridge, followed by a tour of Alcatraz jail the next day were definately highlights.

Further south near the hotel, we were close to the Mission district, famed for its burritos and its 'dives' (dark pubs). We sampled and enjoyed them both...
