Always wanted to get to know Barcelona
The architecture is quite outrageous. Gaudi is the main proponent, but others have been influenced by this ´modernist´style. Overall there is a mish mash of styles in Barcelona, and Lyon has a more pleasing feel. The cathedral at Sagrada is perhaps the most famous (or infamous) of his work. I really liked the Guell park, also designed by Gaudi. I got some inspiration for my own garden.
The Picasso museum focuses on what a brilliant artist he was from a very young age, but there are huge ommissions. From 1904 to 1917 there is nothing represented and no explaination why.
