On the Saturday Steve goes Deep Sea Fishing. This is his passion, and really the main reason we are here. He returns early afternoon with sea-sickness. Didn't sound like the trip was a resounding success as the skipper took him into some rough old seas. He caught a few fish though, so he is relatively happy.
On the Sunday we go to Prickly Pear Island. This wasn't what I had originally asked for, I actually want to go to Green Island - but the sea was a bit rough, and heh did it really matter. It's raining intermittently, as it has for most of the time, but that doesn't bother us.
The skipper "Smokey" is a lovely chap, very laid back, and obviously quite intelligent.

The skipper "Smokey" is a lovely chap, very laid back, and obviously quite intelligent. He seems sensible, which is re-assuring with the children being on board. He even lets the kids drive the boat for a while.
We circle a place called Long Island, which is apparantly a high-end island full of very rich people. It seemed nice, some good looking houses.
We then land on Prickly Pear Island, which is extremely small, with a hut great for keeping out of the rain. But for the fact it has a steep drop on one side you could walk round it in 5 minutes literally. It has a lovely beach, and the chef cooks up some burgers and chicken on the BBQ. This washed down with Rum and coke is great.

The kids love it here as there is a lovely little protected natural pool, where they can splash about and sit down in relative safety. I imagine it would be great for snorkelling.
We found the private charter by asking around on the beach. For us it works better as we can specify how long we are out and where to go. There was no way we could have taken the kids on one of the regular cruises - the time in the sun and outside would have been far too long. As it is in the couple of hours we are out I managed to get quite sunburned - even with my cream on. Luckily the kids have faired better, so I start using Factor 50 from then on in!
