Day 3 UVA

Sorry for the long delay folks! It's been a really long week!

A quick trip to the mall this morning with my new friend Kyle to grab some black shoes had me pounding on the doors of the stores! But I found what I needed, returned, packed, and checked out. Poor girl at the front dest was left all alone to answer an old man who could barely hear, 3 ringing phones, the two of us checking out, and another man with questions. :(

Today the fair was down the street. Finally! No long drive! At the beautiful campus of University of Virginia. Another sandwhiched lunch and then we all packed into a large room with lots of other schools. So many schools that everyone was sharing their tables. Then the students started piling in. Only thing is, as I looked around the seemingly busy room, I noticed that my new friends were as empty and bored as I. It seems the students at UVA were only interested in a few schools! Oh well. After getting into a heated competition for contact cards (and wining I might add), the fair finally ended and it was time to head out to Richmond.

My new friend Melissa and I arrived at the Springhill Suites at the same time, and ironically both received handicapped rooms, which were huge!! And beautiful!! After finding a local place to eat, we gathered up Kyle, who was staying in the ghetto, and headed out to Kabutos. After a great long dinner with lots of laughs, we needed dessert. My east coast friends couldn't believe I hadn't ever heard of Friendly's (which is much like a Denny's with lots of great ice cream) and so we went there. Yum.

More laughs on the way home, and then I crashed . . .
