Here comes the rain

Our luck with the weather had to change and sure enough it did. Awoke to rain on the campervan roof and didnt really let up all day. We must be getting close to the mountains! Decided to head off anyway. Destination today was the town of Bourg-en-Bresse which is at the foot of the alps. Was a nice change in scenery during the day as we could finally see some hills on the horizon. This was of course tempered by the thought that we would have to ride over those same hills! Highlight of the day was two French F15 fighter jets dogfighting overhead. Certainly ended the serenity of the countryside. Pulled in to town after 83.2 km in 2 hrs 54 min averaging 28.6kph. Rainy but also downwind! Tomorrow we head into the Alps. Gulp.
