Noosa was one of our favourite places in Australia. It is quite touristy but a nice town with a great beach. For once it was lovely and hot and sunny whilst we were there! So we made the most of it by going to the beach, sunbathing and jumping the waves, and we also went to Australia Zoo, the zoo in Queensland made famous by Steve Irwin.
There is a complimentary bus from Noosa to the zoo which is great, and they show a video on the way there and back of Steve Irwin and how he got started catching crocodiles etc. Throughout the day at the zoo there are various shows - the most popular one is the croc show where Steve's wife Terri and another guy bring out the crocs and get them to tricks such as the "death roll". It was really cool!

We also got to pat koalas and kangaroos and see other typical Aussie creatures like wombats and dingoes. I wanted to take a baby koala or roo home by the end of the day!
It should definitely be a must on the list for visitors to Queensland, it was a really good day out and worth every cent.
