Bitburg

Bitburg was nice.  It is a huge old Airforce Base.  We're staying in a place that is an army barracks turned hotel...Eric Woody and I were the only three in the whole place and about as far away from the desk as possible.  Weird to be only three in a 600 room hotel, but its close to Christmas and nobody's visiting Bitburg this time of year!  We did go over the boarder into Luxemborg (CHECK!) and they had a little Christmas Market too.  Very cool, they have these stone streets in all of these German towns just for people (FOOS Gangers...)

I asked for an iron in German last night and the woman at the desk and her friends died laughing...not sure if my pronunciation sucks or I really said "I have soiled my pants."

Can't wait to meet Jackie in Koln tonight...am taking the train out of Bitburg and should meet her jetlagged for dinner!
