After our only disappointing day of the trip (we had stupidly given ourselves high expectations of the Bogan town Mount Gambier) we found an amazing reserve just off the Princes Highway. Tower Hill Reserve is a hidden treasure just over the hill from the highway. We walked up to the lookout, walked around the billabong, watched the emus feeding and saw loads of koalas in the trees.
