Wellington
From International Student Volunteers: New Zealand in Wellington, New Zealand on Aug 14 '07
After white water rafting we hit the road for Wellington which has more bars and cafes per capita than any city in the world. We went to an 80's bar for dinner than out afterwards. It was student night so there was a lot of people out. It has been awesome staying in remote places, but it is nice to be in a city again. A group of us went out and had an awesome time.
Thursday morning we went to "Te Papa National Museum." We had a guided tour which was boring. There was some interesting things in the museum but I was not interested at the time. We went shopping, but everything is so expensive. The food was good, there are tons of places to choose from. We also took up the cable car to see the Botanic Gardens. No one really did anything tonight, we were all tired form the night before.
