Well it ws an early start and the sun was only just rising as we started about the tedious task of trying to fit everything on the bikes. We had already done a dry run the previous weekend when we went to the Lake district for the night so everything went smoothly. A quick cup of tea and then pop across to the local petrol station. Finally the journey of 1800 miles and 10 days to the very top of the country and back could begin. Hard to imagine where we will be in 5 days.
