SCUBA live aboard, Great Barrier Reef. Writing all this up after the fact, will try to remember it as it happened. WOW, what a great trip. Appeared to almost get canceled due to a Cyclone, but turned out to be great weather. A long 3hr boat ride out to the reef. It was a great bunch of folks riding along, and a great crew, and great boat. We did the “Pro-Dive” cruise on the Pro-Div III. In particular Tristan ( the dive supervisor), and Mark (the Captain) were awesome. We were lucky enough to get the nicest room with a huge window and queen bed instead of bunk beds.

The first dive was great, and we did a total of 11 dives including 2 night dives – the schedule was Dive, eat, dive eat, etc….

Heading out to Sea/See the GBR

So many cool people.

Saw Giant Clams, Sharks, Lobster, Jellyfish, Huge Napoleon Wrass, Uncorn Fish, and on and on. Great hard and soft coral too.

I decided to get my advanced dive certification in the trip also.

Just about everyone was on the top deck on the first evening marveling at the awesome sunset and taking photos for about 45min as it evolved.
