My new home

I arrived in Helsinki this fall, and i just saw the latter part of summer and the beginning of fall and It's winter now, so I haven't much to tell you because Finland is most exciting in summers.

Things to do: Sauna, Angling, Northern Lights, Architecture, Alvar Alto, Suomenlinna, Reindeer meat, Santa Claus

- Sauna's are everywhere... it's very Finnish, and it's healthy as well. However dont stay there too long - It doesnt help too much with the weight loss. Extended activity: Jump into a freezing Lake, Baltic... whatever... If you are upto it you should do it atleast once... or just roll in the snow.

- Fish, if you arent up for angling, then you should at the very least try the fish out. Smoked Salmon rocks!

- Camping, It's a very nice activity. combine it with angling it becomes an amazing experience

- Aurora Borelias/Northern lights, Reindeer Meat, arctic Circle... well all this can be done up north in Rovaniemi where the circle passes and you can have fun with the santa as well in the santa's village.

- Architecture in Helsinki is also interesting, and the design district is the place to be. Alvar Alto buildings shouldnt be missed!
