FERSIWN CYMRAEG ODDI TANO:
ENGLISH:We arrived in Anna Bay determined to learn to surf, and so we did! John was given the biggest board in the world to learn on, and i couldn't even carry mine it was so big! We were a bit nervous of making fools of ourselves, but john didn't have to worry - he was up on his feet surfing by the end of the hour! I, on the other hand, wasn't! Johns pretty hooked by now and getting better every time!
"reminded us of Aberystwyth" ''yn debyg i Jiraff ar ben bwrdd syrffio"

We stayed on a campsite that had wild koalas in the trees, and on our last night, one walked right passed us, litterealy a foot away - amazing!
We headed south via Stockton Blight Sand Dunes - the largest moving sand dunes in the southern hemisphere, and on to Newcastle - which looked like, well, Newcastle! We didn't stay for long and made our way down to Sydney, stopping on the way in 'Summer Bay'. Unfortunately didn't see any of the locals, but did see the surf shack!
Stayed just north of Manly Beach for a couple of days - Sydneys north beaches are incredible, and probably the best that we've seen so far. There was also a jazz festival in town, so we got to just walk around an feel very cosmopolitan for a couple of days.

Caught the bus into Sydney, that went unexpectedly over the Harbour Bridge. We went on a tour of the Opera House which was really good and then joined in with the Octoberfest celebration that was going on in the Rocks area.
Caught the ferry back to Manly - but didn't see much as we were pretty drunk by this point!
Spent the next day surfing, then the next in Sydney again. We sayed in Kings Cross this time - very interesting in more ways than one! Of couse, we got very drunk...again!!

We spent the next couple of days recovering in the fresh air of the Blue Mountains, and detoxing by doing long walking trecks through the canyon.
We then headed south agian, via Bondi Beach (which was a bit disappointing, reminded us of Aberystwyth) to Woolongong to meet up with a friend we made in China. Camped out for a couple of days in Jervis bay with him and his family and of course, celebrated John's 30th birthday.
And now, here we are in the Capital. Feels like we've been here before as the main Government Buildings are modeled on the Mall in Washington DC, apart from the fact that they decided to put there Houses of Parliament, or Parliament House as they call it, under the ground!! Apparently it was going to be on the hill but they didn't want the people thinking the politicians were looking down on them, so they put them underground, maybe a idea for home!!

It tooks us 2 hours from the coast to get here, basically on a road straight through the bush, nothing really to see until you get here. Its quite surreal and last night was unexspectedly cold, Ffi thinks thats cause i stole the blankets, but it is colder. Had a look around the parliament, very interesting and NEW!, but so is everything here as the city is only just over 100 years old.
Un-sure of our next destination, as usual, but rest assured you will be updated via our new blog! the wonders of mondern technology eh??!!

John and Ffixx
CYMRAEG:
Reodd Anna Bay yn le gwych i ddysgu syrffio, ac er i John wneud y cyfan edrych mor hawdd, bues i yn llyncu dwr am ddwy awr!Fe lwyddes o godi cwpwl o weithiau, ond ar ol y gwers, roedd fy mreichiau yn brifo cymaint fel on i methu brwsio fy nannedd y noson hyny!
Roedd y lle ron ni'n gwersylla allan yn y goedwig a gethon ni weld llwyth o Koala's yn y coed ac yn ystod oriau man y bore, cerddon un reit o fy mlaen i! Anhygoel -gan ystyried eu bod nhw'n cysgu am 20 awr y dydd!

Ymlaen wedyn 'ny i Newcastle ac i weld Stockton Blight a mynyddoedd tywod rhyfeddol. Roedd hi'n ychydig yn dwym i fynd yn bell, felly llun, a mlaen a ni er mwyn cyrraedd Sydney cyn iddi dywyllu.
Stopio yn Palm Beach i weld lle mae 'Home and Away' yn cael ei ffilmio, (ond nid ar brynhawn ddydd Gwener yn amlwg) cyn ffeindio rhywle ger y traeth i wersylla. Fuon ni'n lwcus, oherwydd roedd Manly (sydd just i'r gogledd o Sydney) yn cynnal Gwyl Jazz a llwyth o cherddoriaeth a marchnad yn llenwi'r strydoedd!

Diwrnod wedyn, fe dalion ni'r bws i mewn i Sydney yn hytrach na gyrru, a chael ein gwefreddio wrth fynd dros y Harbour Bridge a gweld y Ty Opera. Reodd Sydney yn hyfryd, lot fawr o le a parciau ac ardaloedd gwyrdd ym mhob man, felly doedd hi ddim yn teimlo fel dinas go iawn. Roedd rhaid (wrth gwrs) ymuno yn y dathliadau 'Octoberfest' oedd ymlaen ym mhob tafarn yn ardal y Rocks, cyn dal y cwch yn ol i Manley.
Ar ol gwario cwpwl o ddyddiau wrth y traeth a John yn ceisio perffeithio ei "style" ar y bwrdd syrffio (sy'n debyg i Jiraff ar ben bwrdd syrffio ar hyn o bryd!)fe benderfynnon ni fynd yn ol i Sydney am fwy o ddiwilliant a gweld lle cafodd y ty cyntaf yn Sydney ei adaeuladu (mae'r 'foundations' dal i fod yno) ac wrth gwrs, i weld sut fywyd cymdeithasol sy'n Kings Cross.
Dyma ni yn penderfynnu cario ymlaen ar ein taith, heibio i Bondi Beach (oedd yn edrych yn debyg i Aberystwyth) ac yna o Woolonggong i gwrdd a boi cwrddon ni'n China. Fuon ni'n gwersylla gyda fe a'i frodyr am dau ddiwrnod a dathlu penblwydd John yn 30 ar gefn Jetski!
Dyma ni nawr yn y Brifddinas, Canberra, sydd ddim yn debyg i unrhyw brifddinas arall dwi wedi bod ynddi erioed. Wel, dydy hyny ddim yn wir - mae'r ddinas ei hun yn debyg i Washington, a tu mewn i'r Parliment House yn debyg iawn i San Steffan - ond reodd y dref yn dawel, ac ychydig o deimlad ych a fi, fel yr un ces i y tro cyntaf i mi fynd i Milton Keynes!
Ddim yn siwr le i fynd nesa, ond gan ein bod ni'n medru gwneud hwn yn haws na danfon ebost, fydd hi ddim yn hir tan yr un nesa.
Gobeithio fod pawb yn iawn - cofiwch ddanfon neges!
Hwyl
Ffion a Johnxx
