To the Shrines we go

As a nice change of pace, we went the other way, away from Tokyo, deeper into Kanagawa prefecture, to the city of Kamakura. It is still mostly green and natural; that's because it's a huge tourist draw. We saw a lot of beautiful shrines, and probably the most famous of them all, the Daibutsu, or grand buddha of Hase.

Also, there were students from a local school on a field trip, practicing their English. It was great fun!
