Ding Dong The Wind Is Dead
From Camino de Santiago in Hornillos del Camino, Spain on Mar 25 '06
We head off, seems so early but really not, just that whole time change thing. Take some photos with Jamesie and then head off through a lovely forest. Take photos of a complex that, judging by the guard towers, might be the world´s prettiest prison. Walked ov a freeway under construction and in town the Aussies told us where we could pick up provisions, it is Sunday and the next town is fairly small, which means you get what you can. Passed a sheep herder and his sheep on the path, took pics, then arrived in town at 1. Chilled in the albergue, then to the bar for lnch, they have cheap potato and cheese things that are pretty decent. Germany and Brzil came by, they are moving on, so we bade our goodbyes. There was a little store, we bought milk and such, can´t get enough of the stuff, we all love it. There is a funny but inapproriate story involving Alain in the market, but I´ll save it for another time. Ate outside in the sun, still light out as we go to bed, cold but what really kept me up was the snoring and the sound of mice in the ceiling.
The Wicked Wind....
