One Night In Bangkok - well more than one !!!

Flew into Bangkok yesterday from Hong Kong with no accomodation - we must be getting braver. Took a taxi to Khao San Road which is the main backpackers area and decided to look for somewhere that took our fancy. We found a clean looking place for 5 pounds each per night which is good. We could have gone lower but we really wanted aircon and ensuite toilet and its worth paying a bit more for these things.
Khao San Road is a mix of stalls selling CDs, T-shirts, basically anything and everything, with hostels, restaurants, internet, laundry and a Boots The Chemist which sells malaria tablets and other medicines over the counter - very useful - Doxycycline tablets cost 100 baht for 10 tablets - cheaper than the UK.
