Welcome to da islands mon!  Last night Gino Brian and Bill arrive at the Marriott met by Brad holding a drink in his hand... I knew right away that he fit right in and this was going to be a GREAT trip.  After passing the night away with some bevies down in the lobby bar (really.... it closed at midnight!) we managed to find some more refreshments and chips and maybe a stogie to enjoy on our balcony with our georgous view of the ocean and the pool

This morning, I hate to say it, was an early morning.. for me at least.  Brian was up at 6:30.. I guess thats what happens when you have kids!  Me I woke up at 8am and then got out of bed at 8:25 showered and we were off to our sailing adventure with Captian Maxine!

Yes folks.. you wonder why hes still single!

Showing up at Redhood Harbor we find our captian waiting for us ready to go.  Her first mate Julie and her welcomed us aboard the Lou and off we went.  A lovely sunny 80 degree morning and we start tacking our way out of the harbor on our way over to St. John's marine sanctuary.

Upon arrial, a few Rum Punches and beers were found empty on deck .. how did that happen.. oh well, its noon somewhere right!  Once anchored we enjoy our first snorkel of the day, not a ton of wildlife but great coral and some decent fish.  After snorkeling we enjoyed a lovely lunch of fruit and cheese, chicken, and orzo pasta and then moved on to snorkel locaiton number two!  Here we saw turtles, sting-rays, starfish and more Oh My!

I'm almost as old as this giant turtle.. oh no!

Finally after a few more rum punches we returned to red hook harbor and had to return to our land lubber ways.  As I write this the boys are bitching at me to get my ass off the computer and down to the beach/pool to enjoy the swim up bar!

More later.. but suffice it to say.. good times are being had... who says we have to come home!

Bill, Gino, Brian and Brad

Now this is the life! Sea, sun, snorkeling, someone prepares the lunch and takes care of the boat. My goodness it must be a dream!
