One of the highlight of this bed and breakfast is that breakfast is delivered to your cottage at in the morning. It was nice to be able to enjoy breakfast before getting dressed and ready for the day. Breakfast was excellent with coffee, tea, fresh blueberries (with cream), french toast, and bacon. One of the bed and breakfast's other pets, Max, came in when our breakfast did and hung out with us while we ate. He is a very cute orange cat. He (like the other pets) is on a diet and isn't allowed any treats. He thought that the food smelled really good and was not happy with the no treat thing.

After breakfast, we drove and parked by the ferry to head to Friday Harbor. Walk ons are free on all inter-island routes and there are no charges for car depending on what direction you are heading. There are some free parking spaces available by the ferry terminal on Orcas. We got on the cute little inter-island ferry and headed out. On the way to Friday Harbor we got to see a seal!
The bed and breakfast uses wonderful lavender scented bath products from a business located on San Juan Island and they have a Friday Harbor store. We headed into Pelindaba Lavender to look around. It is located very near the ferry terminal. They have everything lavender from food to soap and beyond. It smelled heavenly inside! After doing some browsing, I figured out what I wanted to buy and we left to go explore the island. We headed up to the airport for old times sake, as Jeff used to fly here a good amount and the last time we were here, we flew up here together. After a good long walk, we headed back to Pelindaba so I could buy my lavender stuff and then went to eat.
Again, for old times sake, we had to eat at Downrigers, where Jeff always ate when we came here. The food was great and it has a nice view of the harbor and the ferry terminal. Luck was on our side with the weather as it started pouring rain, just as we got to the waiting area for the ferry. Once we could board the ferry, we made a mad dash through the rain to board. We were again riding the inter-island ferry. By the time we got back to Orcas, the rain had stopped and we headed back to the B&B. We got the fire going and Jeff enjoyed the hot tub again before we headed to bed.
