We are traveling from Gibraltar to Cape Town in a large truck with 22 other people, none of whom we knew before we started this crazy venture (well, apart from Matt and Hanna from Southampton who we met up with a little bit before.) After much debate and perusing of brochures, we picked to do the trans with. Why did we pick them? I guess they seemed to provide the best deal, seemed like value for money, looked a decent company, and passed the gut feeling test. Why are we doing the trans? We want to see Africa and this is cheapest and easiest way we found.

We all met up at Luton Airport, trying to spot people that looked as if they were going to spend months on a truck in Africa.

Gib was great fun.  We took the cable car up the rock then wandered our way back down and round.  There are some great views, plenty of monkeys, and it was lovely and sunny!

We went through a small but excellent local museum and through some caves, some were ancient and had been inhabited at some point in time, and others were used during the war.
