Im now living inMombasa, in a shared Volunteer house with 16 others. We all go to different projects (schools, centers, orphanages) each day.

Its very hot here, dry, dirty, but the friendly happy children and beautiful white sand beaches make up for it.

I love my orphanage at New Hope Children's Centre, the children are so happy to have love and cuddles. and im loving being there teacher and friend.

The container will be finally arriving at the at the orphanage this week, after many days spent at meetings, on phones to the high commissiuoner, Aust. embassy, ministry of home affairs, ministry of Finance and in Nairobi trying to deal with the documents which were not complete by my transport company and the coruption in Kenya.

The container will be distrubuted amoungst over 10 centres throughout mombasa. I have now been waiting 5 weeks of sleepless nights, the dreaded runs caused from stress, rashes and so much money spent on phone calls. I am going to feel like i have won the lottery when the container does finally arrive this week, its been a tough journey, but i hAVE NEARLY ONE IT.
