After breakfast, I decided to return to the ruins and climb higher than we had ventured the day before on ou guided tour. The early morning sites were something I'll never forget. It's incredible that all of this was built centuries ago without the benefit of modern tools and machines and causes the mind to relly wonder. Our group was scheduled to return to Cusco on an evening train but the four of us decided to take an earlier train back and have dinner at the hotel. We were so glad we did as we were able to see the beautiful scenery in the daylight from a idfferent perspective as we went up the Andes back to Cusco. In addition to another very deluxe train we were entertained by a professional fashion show with four beautiful young models displaying beautiful garments. The Wests and Wallaces arrived back at the hotel in time to enjoy a wonderful dinner in the main dinning room overlooking the beautiful gardens of this old monestary now turned hotel. Tonight we arranged to have extra oxygen turned on in our room but we agreed the next day that we hadn't noticed much difference. You sure feel the altitude here.
